1 2 1 Health and Safety Services Ltd seeks to minimise damage to the environment. Organisational practices have been established and will be reviewed to avoid further damage to the environment where ever this is possible, including: -

• The conservation of power and energy.
• Purchasing of products which do not cause damage to the environment.
• A reduction in the use of non-renewable resources.
• The effective management of waste materials.

As a responsible employer and key player within the pollution control industry 1 2 1 Health and Safety Services Ltd are committed to providing high quality services in a way which demonstrates a concern for wider issues and which is morally sustainable.

Our purchasing policies ensure that wherever possible no product is obtained which damages the environment. Power will be conserved and heating systems will be managed to avoid waste. A minimum of paper will be used as necessary in respect of preparation of paperwork, copying and circulation and wherever possible waste paper will be re-cycled. Where vehicles are used, proper journey sequencing must occur to minimise emissions and vehicles must be shared wherever possible.

Our environmental policy has been supplied to all staff and is subject to annual review.
