Description: |
The Mini Silo's are newly
designed units which perform two highly
important functions at the same time:
as separators with a filter for dust and
shavings, and as silos for containing
these. What particularly characterizes
the Mini Silo's are the reduced overall
dimensions with respect to the large useful
volume for containing dust and shavings,
which thus makes possible longer intervals
between dust-unloading operations.
The use of bag filters made of barbed
felt (Type A, 280 g/m2, filtering efficiency
level BIA U; or, alternatively on request,
Type B, 400 g/m2, filtering efficiency
level BIA U) has made it possible to limit
to the utmost the overall dimensions,
if compared to ordinary bag filters.
Mini Silo's are provided on request with
a shaker for cleaning the bags. The shaker
may be operated either manually or semi-automatically.
The Mini Silo's are built of galvanized
prefabricated panels, which can be assembled
to make up standard modular units of 1
metre (MS1), 2 metres (MS2), 3 metres
(MS3), 4 metres (MS4), and higher. Owing
to this peculiar feature, the Mini Silo's
can be disassembled completely, which
makes it possible also to cut down on
costs for transportation and makes installation
much easier.
The Mini Silo's are manufactured in two
different heights, 2700 mm and 3700 mm,
in order to meet particular needs more
satisfactorily.
The material that is deposited inside
the silo can be easily emptied out, by
means of the manually operated discharge
shutters, into bags made of plastic or
fabric or into containers of various sizes
made of galvanized sheet steel, which
are available on request. In addition,
hatches for maintenance are present in
the bottom part of the Mini Silo's, and
inspection windows are present in the
top part.
Should a request be made for recycling
of the filtered air into the environment,
in conformance with current local standards
and regulations we can supply a plenum
chamber as an accessory. This performs
the dual function of providing a protective
roof and of
channelling the flow of filtered air into
the environment through special piping
provided with air inlets, which is also
supplied on request. |
