Fine Mist Unit

Description:
APPLICATIONS: mechanical industry: multiple machining lathes, threading machines, gear cutting machines, grinding machines, cold pressing machines, etc.
Food industry: vegetable oil mist spraying machines, alimentary paste machines, etc

OPERATION SYSTEM: polluted air from oily substances passes through a mechanical separating device made up of a helical element and a metal screen, both inserted into a duct which has the same section as the intake opening. Due to the centrifugal force given so the polluted air, in this preliminary filter the oil drops impact against the metal screen in the duct which prevents their return into the air flow; the droplets slide along the walls of the duct itself to their collection point at the end of hopper. Oil is later collected into a small tank (offered as an optional) and recycled if required. Almost all the oil parts in suspension in the air are thus separated before being filtered through metal wool and pocket filters.

The efficiency of the mechanical separator and the filters is such that now the air does not contain oil drops any more.

To remove possible remaining impurities, the air passes through the last pocket filter, with a large filtering surface and made of ultra fine glass fiber filtering material. The air is finally exhausted through a grating located on the top of the machine.

LAW ABIDANCE: The unit has been designed and manufactured according to laws and standards given by the American Conference Governmental Industrial Hygienists which set the T.V.L. and T.W.A. limit threshold values and maximum acceptable concentration of the different polluting substances (for emulsions 5 mg/cu .m)

MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY: high separation efficiency and high filtering standards (up to 99% of our machine are due to the first quality of the filtering materials used.

Where bad smells must also be removed, the unit is equipped on demand with TURBO CARBON activated charcoal filters.

If special smells are to be removed the composition of the polluting agents should be given to enable supplying the proper activated charcoals.

NOISELESSNES: Due to the layout of its fitters, their remarkable absorbing power and the special streamline, the unit can be used in any environment without causing acoustic pollution.

Where very low noise levels are required, AFON model silencers are supplied.

ENERGY SAVINGS: in winter, the exhausting of oil vapours and mists from the working environment causes strong temperature falls and this means that the heating plant has to be oversized with higher installation and running costs.

The solution offered to this problem is that the unit can be supplied with TURBO CARBON charcoal filters, with absolute filters or with any other type of filters to solve every problem.

As an optional we can supply either a collection tank or a continuous oil drainage system, and, in case of special installation requirements, also high pressure electric fans.
